The surface area

Visit the new copper smelter with its stamp mill, smelter and associated water technology as well as the rest of the surface area with the Barbara Chapel, the shaft superstructures and excavation sites. The more than 12-meter-high mining pyramid is a special eye-catcher in the mine ensemble, which is unique in its form in all of southwestern Germany.

The hat house

 is the old name for the mine administration building.

the mine chapel

A mine chapel is first depicted on a sketch of the mine made by Hauzeur around 1729.

Linsenbergstollen / Litermont-legend trail

The Litermont Legends Trail (a premium trail) also leads through an adit at the copper mine.

Fire machine

In 1772, a French company led by the Marquis de Gerin acquired the concession to mine the copper ores.

Machine shaft

This shaft was newly constructed during the mining period of the DILLINGER HÜTTE (1824-28) in the years 1824/25 in order to explore the old deep workings and was in operation only during this period.

Willow Shaft

This shaft is called "Puits large ou grand Puits" in the plan of ODELIN (1787, 1. Riss), translated approximately "Wide Shaft" or "Large Shaft".

Hauzeur-shaft

This shaft is called "2nd light hole" in the outline of ERDMENGER (1818).

Horse Goad

Due to the particular abundance of water in the Weltersberg and Linsenberg, dewatering in the Düppenweiler mine has always been a special problem.

New Barbara-Shaft

The New Barbara Shaft was completely rebuilt in 1996/1997 as a steel-concrete structure.

Sello-SHAFT

At this point, a pinge (shaft funnel) has always been clearly visible on the earth's surface.

Hütten-SHAFT

This shaft is closest to the adit mouth and had long been known as the shaft pinge (funnel-shaped depression in the ground).

Stollenmundloch

According to a crack by ERDMENGER (1818), the original mouth hole of the water supply tunnel was located about 35 m further in the direction of Düppenweiler.
