The mine pyramid
With a height of 18.60 m, the mining pyramid at the Düppenweiler copper mine is currently the highest comparable pyramid. It was erected in 2010 under the direction of Ortwin Zimmer according to plans by civil engineer Günther Britz with many volunteers from the association. It is festively illuminated during the Advent and Christmas season.
For the opening of the Christmas market on the 3rd of Advent, it is "pushed" with the help of the mountain parade and then rotates on the two festive days.
