In both showcases are exhibited many originals from excavations in the Old Village (medieval pottery) and the copper mine. The pottery (misfired) dates from the 11th to the 17th century. They were found during the excavations of the former Heimatverein Düppenweiler in the years 1983 and 1985. The mining originals have been found during extension works since 1992. From prehistoric times (Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age) are replicas of hand axes, iron ingots and bronze bracelets. Guests of the Huthaus should take the time to look at the showcases. The exhibition originates from the former village museum (1985-2005), which was housed in the Old Rectory.
