Light and sound installation Mystallica
The chosen name for this light and sound installation is derived from the terms "mystical", i.e. mysterious, and "Metallica".
The late medieval mining expert Georg Agricola used this expression in his work "De re metallica" to refer to mining in general. Through the elements of lighting, music, sounds and spoken texts, mystallica builds a bridge between traditional mine tours and cultural leisure activities and is characterized by its almost fabulous experience and entertainment. During a guided tour underground, visitors become aware that the historical core of many legends around the Litermont can be traced back to copper mining. The multimedia show mystallica impressively demonstrates to the underground visitor the history of the historical mining of Düppenweiler and the formation of the ores found here.
