Marianne and Hans Schwickerath submitted two suggestions for our big SZ "My favourite place" campaign. One of them is in the immediate vicinity of their home in Düppenweiler, namely the Valentinus Chapel. It's an idyllic place outside the village towards Schmelz, where we like to linger after a short hike," the couple explain their suggestion. Why is it so beautiful for them? "Inside the chapel, you can light a candle and enjoy a moment of silence." But it's not just the building itself that has a very special magic for Marianne and Hans Schwickerath: "The surrounding meadows with the grazing cattle and the old trees around the chapel are a feast for the eyes."
